We have an outstanding Contract position for a Power Systems Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $100.00 - $120.00
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**
Job Responsibilities:
Defines and establishes system requirements for power quality and system stability.
Defines and establishes system electrical interface requirements.
Develops system test processes and procedures.
Defines facility requirements for testing.
Participates/leads Test Readiness Reviews.
Participates/leads test data reviews.
Participates in mission integration activities.
Supports launch approval activities.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related major.
10+ years of power systems design experience for space applications.
Experience with Radioisotope Power Systems.
Experience working on NASA programs.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering with a focus on space.
