This role is essential in managing infrastructure, manufacturing software, and business operations, ensuring seamless IT functionality to support plant operations. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help shape the plant's culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee daily IT activities at the plant level, including employee support.
Manage plant-related IT budgets and assist in corporate-level IT budget planning.
Supervise IT Plant Support Specialists and third-party maintenance services.
Ensure seamless operation of network, hardware, software, and telecommunications.
Plan and implement IT applications, infrastructure, and resource acquisition.
Oversee hardware/software installations and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
Provision ofend-user workstations/laptops as per company guidelines.
Support troubleshooting efforts through knowledge of backup technologies and industry IT tools.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
MES background, automotive experience, who can communicate well with the hourly team.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum six (6) years of experience in an IT Manager role.
Experience creating strategic IT plans (6+ years).
Experience managing budgets (4+ years).
Experience working with cross-functional teams (4+ years).
Project management experience (4+ years).
Training and developing direct reports (3+ years).
Organization and planning experience (6+ years).
SQL Server database software.
Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
VMware, PC, RF, Printing, Server, and Network Storage Systems.
Networking knowledge and troubleshooting backup technologies.
Industry-based IT tools.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with IT automotive systems.
Experience with ERP systems (such as Plex).
Understanding of MES and plant floor applications/networks.
