We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Project Manager to join a leading Company located in the Raleigh, NC surrounding area.
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful coordination, execution, and delivery of company equipment projects across North America. This role serves as the key liaison between the company in Switzerland, U.S.-based customers, internal technical teams, and third-party contractors. The Project Manager is accountable for project scope, schedule, cost, and quality, ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage on-site activities including installation, commissioning, qualification, and customer handover
Maintain constant communication with company Project Managers and customers
Coordinate internal and external schedules and resources, including third-party vendors
Monitor and report on project milestones, critical paths, and open/punch list items
Control and verify changes to project scope, cost, and schedule
Serve as the first point of contact for both internal teams and customers
Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and documentation requirements
Create and maintain project-related documentation and technical specifications
Support Sales and Service departments with project-related input
Travel up to 25%, including international travel to Switzerland for training or project alignment
Growth Path:As a Project Manager progresses, responsibilities may include:
Becoming a subject matter expert on company products and airflow/pressure concepts
Mentoring and training new project managers
Leading the Project Management Team
Supporting IQ/OQ execution and automation team efforts
Participating in internal process improvement and employee appraisals
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or minimum 1 year with European companies
Experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries preferred
Demonstrated success managing a minimum of 6 projects (for senior level consideration)
Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills
Familiarity with GMP/GDP standards and technical documentation
Certifications in relevant areas a plus
