We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Receptionist to join a leading Company located in the Los Alamitos, CA surrounding area.
Salary: $43,680 - $46,800
Greet and screen visitors and answer phone calls while maintaining professional composure throughout interactions with visitors and employees. Provide administrative support to all areas of Human Resources, and other departments when needed. In addition, maintain calendars for conference rooms, sort mail, and other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors/employees in a professional and courteous manner, assist them with the sign-in process and complete the appropriate security screening prior to visitors entering the building beyond the reception area
- Create and provide temporary badges when needed
- Answer calls (internal and external); direct them to the appropriate person and page employees when needed
- Perform a combination of administrative and clerical assignments to support the business including but not limited to sorting mail, copying, coordinating conference room calendars, and working on short term and long term projects
- Create and maintain employee files, including off-site storage records
- Maintain HRIS including data entry
- Prepare meeting minutes
- Support the Purchasing department with invoices
- Maintain necessary files, records, and order supplies
- Schedule meetings, training sessions, and appointments
- Assist HR staff

Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Minimum High School diploma
- Minimum of one (1) year prior experience as a Receptionist and/or HR preferred
- Associate of Arts degree preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of all MS Office applications and Internet navigation
- Good multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize work
- Discrete and professional with confidential matters
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company to customers and contacts
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
- Knowledge of California Employment Laws
