Great opportunity for a Senior Recruiter supporting a large government contractor. This is a long term contract. Located in Norfolk, VA. Will be working onsite.
**US Citizenship is required.**
Job Responsibilities:
Experience supporting Engineering Functions within recruiting
Work with other talented recruiting and sourcing professionals who demonstrate an in-depth industry knowledge to identify candidates to support some of our most critical programs.
Work closely with other recruiters, hiring teams and business leaders to develop and implement recruiting strategies.
Identify and contact passive candidates.
Utilize the existing ATS and CRM systems as well as external databases.
Craft and send engaging and appealing recruiting communications to potential candidates.
Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
Promote our employer brand.
Partner effectively with HR teammates when working compensation, compliance, onboarding, and other processes.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of six (6) years of recruiting experience
Experience supporting ship repair, ship building, and skilled trades.
Proficient in using industry job boards, social media platforms, and candidate tracking systems (Kenexa/Brass Ring or comparable ATS).
Demonstrated experience in an OFCCP-compliant environment.
Experience building recruiting plans.
Experience supporting endto end recruiting process.
Capable in adapting communication style to a myriad of client levels.
Notable experience and proven examples as a driver of diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
Skilled at partnering with colleagues to build effective recruiting, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
