Great opportunity for a Senior Recruiter  supporting a large government contractor. This is a long term contract.  Located in Norfolk, VA.  Will be working onsite. 

**US Citizenship is required.**

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Experience supporting Engineering Functions within recruiting
  • Work with other talented recruiting and sourcing professionals who demonstrate an in-depth industry knowledge to identify candidates to support some of our most critical programs. 
  • Work closely with other recruiters, hiring teams and business leaders to develop and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Identify and contact passive candidates.
  • Utilize the existing ATS and CRM systems as well as external databases. 
  • Craft and send engaging and appealing recruiting communications to potential candidates.
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs. 
  • Promote our employer brand. 
  • Partner effectively with HR teammates when working compensation, compliance, onboarding, and other processes.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of six (6) years of recruiting experience 
  • Experience supporting ship repair, ship building, and skilled trades. 
  •  Proficient in using industry job boards, social media platforms, and candidate tracking systems (Kenexa/Brass Ring or comparable ATS). 
  • Demonstrated experience in an OFCCP-compliant environment.
  • Experience building recruiting plans. 
  • Experience supporting end to end recruiting process. 
  • Capable in adapting communication style to a myriad of client levels. 
  • Notable experience and proven examples as a driver of diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives. 
  • Skilled at partnering with colleagues to build effective recruiting, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
