We have an outstanding Contract position for a Subcontracts Administrator to join a leading Company located in the Carson, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $24.00

The Subcontracts Administrator performs a full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontract administration. Issues requests for proposals, evaluates proposals, maintains subcontract files in accordance to established procedures. Oversees and performs the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting. Under general supervision, solves problems requiring knowledge of industry best practices.

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Issuing requests for information (RFIs).
  • Issuing requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Prepares subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow-down requirements from the prime contract.
  • Monitors Open orders and expedites shortages to meet customer demand, including resourcing parts if the existing supplier is incapable of supporting.
  • Monitors Turn Around Time of the assigned subcontractors and follow up when late to meet the agreed timeframe.
  • Develop accurate tracking records and scorecards tailored to the assigned subcontractors.
  • Cradle-to-grave subcontract management.
  • Serves as liaison between Subcontractor and Repair Station Management
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Access to and use Inventory Locator Service to acquire products as needed.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • A working knowledge of the various types of contracts, Firm Fixed Price, Unit Rates and Time and Materials types.
  • Ability to be flexible and embrace change .Self-motivated and takes initiative.
  • Good working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Great communication skills both telephone and email and excellent organizational skills are imperative.
  • Candidate must be a quick learner, be able to pay attention to detail, and be able to proficiently navigate on a PC, must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
