We have an outstanding Contract position for a Quality Inspector to join a leading Company located in the Fort Walton Beach, FL surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
Job Responsibilities:
Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies, Electrical Cables and Harnesses, Surface MountandThru Hole Circuit Card Assemblies.
Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience using Microscope, Eye Loup, and other means of Magnification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings or inspection instructions, and other technical documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a technical field, such as engineering, quality engineering, or a related field, preferred.
Minimum 5 years Electronic Assembly Preferred.
IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred.
IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification plus Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
