We have an outstanding Contract position for a Quality Inspector to join a leading Company located in the Fort Walton Beach, FL surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies, Electrical Cables and Harnesses, Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Assemblies. 
  • Use various measuring devices and testing equipment. 
  • Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
  • Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings oinspection instructions and checklists. 
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microscope, Eye Loup, and other means of Magnification. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and specifications, drawings or inspection instructions, and other technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, such as engineering, quality engineering, or a related field, preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years Electronic Assembly Preferred.
  • IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred. 
  • IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification plus Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
