We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Material Handler to join a leading Company located in the Perris, CA surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $22
Responsibilities:
Use pick tickets to pull customer orders
Some orders involve full pallets; others require picking and stacking multiple individual bags to build a pallet — these take longer and require close attention to detail
Wrap completed pallets of animal feed using a stretch wrapper
Stage pallets in designated areas
Load pallets onto trucks, paying attention to weight distribution and order accuracy
Assist with end-of-shift truck loading and warehouse cleaning
This is not a full-time forklift position
Candidates must be willing and able to do hands-on warehouse work in addition to forklift operation
Basic Hiring Criteria:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 to 8 years of sit-down forklift experience
Must have prior experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications:
Must be a team player — no competition, no ego
Everyone on the shift is treated as an equal and works together
Strong culture of mutual respect and cooperation
Detail-oriented to avoid picking errors
Reliable and willing to work until the job is done
Comfortable with both forklift and manual labor
Able to learn product types quickly
