We have an outstanding Contract position for a Mechanical Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Sun Valley, CA surrounding area.
Pay Range: $21 - $25
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of mechanical systems, robotic and mechatronic devices, lights, sound systems, server control panels, cables, and power supplies. Responsibilities:
- Hands-on operations with both large and small assemblies
- Read, understand, and interpret drawings and schematics
- Stage, set up, assemble, test, and install hardware and prepare cables for assembly
- Use precision calibrated tools – torque wrenches, cable crimpers and splicers, and drivers
- Perform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions
- Use various mechanical tools with basic instructions
- Collaborate with production engineers to develop and document activities
- Ensure all production services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
- Skill in operating and manipulating various hand and power tools, requiring manual dexterity
- Strong ability to understand technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
