We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Technician to join a leading Company located in the Riverside, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $30 - $35

The Technician Two is responsible for installing, training partners, and inspecting the quality of work on a variety of low-voltage solutions we offer our clients. The Technician Two supports programs that rely on relationships with business partners to provide a consistent, outstanding customer experience. The Technician Two will be instrumental in making sure quality is guaranteedand training is consistent as we rely on more and more business partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a lead on site and direct, inspect, and audit technicians' work as needed
  • Perform complete installation and service work on the customer site, including installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and testing, based on the schedule
  • Proficient in five of ten areas of focus: Voice, Data, Fire Alarm, Fiber, Burg Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Signage, Access Points, Networking
  • Provide regular updates (email responses and deliverables) to Project Management Team(s), Resource Center, and Service Center in a timely manner, and act as a point of escalation for clients, providing resolutions whenever possible
  • Assist in the training of less experienced technicians in the scope of work and administrative tasks
  • Take direction and learn from more experienced technicians on job sites
  • Train subcontractors and technicians on theory and practices for reliable quality installations
  • Complete administrative job requirements in a timely fashion
  • Maintain company vehicle and tools if assigned
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Minimum of two years as a Technician One or equivalent experience is required
  • Availability to work outside of normal scheduled work hours and ability to travel to achieve quality and schedule demands required
  • Must have industry manufacturer certifications or equivalent structured cabling experience
  • Maintain LIFT and OSHA30 Certifications
  • Must complete and maintain local installer licenses and cards
  • Must complete and maintain BICSI Installer 1 certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge in key areas as outlined by management
  • Must complete HIPAA Training
  • Must be willing to travel to support our business; travel may include working on long-term projects over multiple weeks at a time (US only)
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, climb ladders to reach overhead ceiling areas, and lift up to 45lbs
  • Must be flexible to work varying shifts based on business needs
  • Demonstrate knowledge of multiple areas of technologies, including but not limited to: CCTV, BOSCH, and product-specific (Belden/Panduit), as outlined by the company

Desired Qualifications:
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be a self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills to run field projects with minimum direction
  • Must have self-control to handle stress and provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask 
  • Diverse knowledge of some of the following: network cabling, CCTV, Fire Alarm, intrusion, access control, and networking
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, etc)
  • Laptop Knowledge
