We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Assembly Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Kingman, AZ surrounding area.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Mechanical Technician within an FAA-regulated environment. This role involves the construction, maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical equipment and components, with a focus on aircraft wheel and brake systems.

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Perform teardown, inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft wheels and brakes. Identify worn or defective parts and determine appropriate replacements.
  • Operate hand tools and powered industrial equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and established procedures to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and report to a supervisor or manager.
  • Work in the wheel line or brake line department.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a mechanical or related field.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential; prior experience in automotive repair or similar industries is a plus.
  • Experience using hand tools is required.
  • Military mechanical experience is highly valued.
  • Apprenticeship or formal training in a mechanical specialty is a plus.
  • This is a general mechanical position; prior aircraft experience is not required.
  • Must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Must have mechanical experience.
