Injection Molding Lead Mesa, AZ Posted: 8/25/2025
We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Injection Molding Lead to join a leading Company located in the Mesa, AZ surrounding area.
Job Responsibilities:
Setup , start, monitor, and troubleshoot injection molding machines. Adjust temperature, pressure, and timing for quality molded parts. Perform routine cleaning and minor repairs to prevent downtim e. Install, secure, and remove molds for different production runs. Understand various plastics (thermoplastics, thermosets) and their behavior under heat and pressure. Conduct quality checks to ensure molded parts meet specifications. Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Identify and troubleshoot defects (flash, sink marks, short shots). Follow OSHA regulations and proper hazardous material handlin g. Lockout/ tagout (LOTO) training and safe high-pressure machinery operation .
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Attention to detail to catch defects early. Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and fix production issues. Teamwork and communication with supervisors, QC, and maintenance teams. Time management to ensure smooth production flow.
Desired Qualifications:
4-6 years in a manufacturing or plastics production environment. Training in Scientific Injection Molding (SIM) principles. RJG Master Molder or similar injection molding processing certification.
