We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Injection Molding Lead to join a leading Company located in the Mesa, AZ surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Setup, start, monitor, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
  • Adjust temperature, pressure, and timing for quality molded parts.
  • Perform routine cleaning and minor repairs to prevent downtime.
  • Install, secure, and remove molds for different production runs.
  • Understand various plastics (thermoplastics, thermosets) and their behavior under heat and pressure.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure molded parts meet specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Identify and troubleshoot defects (flash, sink marks, short shots).
  • Follow OSHA regulations and proper hazardous material handling.
  • Lockout/tagout (LOTO) training and safe high-pressure machinery operation.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Attention to detail to catch defects early.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and fix production issues.
  • Teamwork and communication with supervisors, QC, and maintenance teams.
  • Time management to ensure smooth production flow.

Desired Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years in a manufacturing or plastics production environment.
  • Training in Scientific Injection Molding (SIM) principles.
  • RJG Master Molder or similar injection molding processing certification.
