We have an outstanding contract position for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DC surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $72.11

**Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**
The Cloud Architect leads cloud expert advising on cloud-based solutions across a variety of cloud service providers and classification fabrics. This role requires collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to design robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. This role will implement best practices on technical offerings and address issues such as systems integration, compatibility and security.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understands networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, VPC's, Firewalls, subnets etc.).
- Has worked in cloud security principles (e.g., RBAC, IAM, encryption, VPN, Secure APIs, zero trust, MFA etc.).
- Understands the first-party cloud services provider's mission to support government staff with mission.
- Conducts triage and technical exchange discussions on Development, Pre-Production, and Production architecture implementation techniques, considering enterprise capabilities. Provide documented feedback on recommendations based on technical review findings.
- Updates JIRA tickets for tracking and official record keeping of customer engagement.
- Writes technical papers for enterprise consumption and long-term educational use.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience recommended. In the absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
