We have an outstanding Contract position for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DC surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $69.71 - $76.92

**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**

Responsibilities:
  • Leads the development and integration of enterprise architecture strategies across business, application, data, technology, and security domains. 
  • Establishes long-term enterprise architecture roadmaps to drive modernization, digital transformation, and investment planning. 
  • Contributes to governance frameworks by defining reference architectures, standards, and principles. 
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to align architecture with organizational priorities and provides oversight to ensure scalability, interoperability, and alignment with enterprise goals. 
  • Manages the deployment and maintenance of enterprise architecture tools. 
  • Identifies design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommends changes or enhancements. 
  • Leads development and integration of enterprise architecture strategies that align business, application, data, technology, and security domains. 
  • Establishes and maintains long-term enterprise architecture roadmaps to guide modernization, investment planning, and digital transformation. 
  • Contributes to enterprise governance frameworks by defining reference architectures, standards, and principles that support mission and business outcomes. 
  • Partners with stakeholders across business and IT functions to ensure enterprise architecture reflects organizational priorities and operational realities. 
  • Provides architectural oversight for major initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide objectives, scalability, and interoperability. 
  • Oversees deployment and maintenance of Enterprise Architecture tools. 

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a minimum of 4 years in a senior or lead architect role, driving enterprise-wide IT transformation efforts. 
  • Proven experience in large-scale architecture development, including cloud computing, data center modernization, network architecture, and integration across multi-cloud environments. 
  • Certification in federal enterprise architecture frameworks, such as DODAF. 
  • Hands-on experience working with federal or highly regulated environments. 
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture and ensuring systems are designed to comply with industry standards and federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST). 

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in enterprise data architecture and integrating modern technologies (e.g., microservices, APIs) into the architecture design is preferred. 
  • Strong background in ITIL, with advanced leadership skills in both strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
