We have an outstanding Contract position for a Technician to join a leading Company located in the Minneapolis, MN surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $30.20 - 33.65

**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**

We are seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in our Electrical Lab. This position will support the fabrication of Micro & Nano electronic products and support equipment, including assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, and repair.    

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • 2-year technical degree or a minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.    
  • Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools, and hand tools. 
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches. 
  • Precision and fine motor skills are required for micro/nano-scale fabrication, assembly, and testing with near-zero defects. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001, or have knowledge of these requirements. 
  • Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (i.e., Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data. 
  • Able to work as part of a group or team. 
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.    

Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication, and test improvements. 
  • Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience.
  • Troubleshooting of electronic and electrical systems.
  • Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3, and J-STD-001, or have knowledge of these requirements.
