We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Plant Manager to join a leading Company located in the Pasadena, TX surrounding area.
The Plant Manager leads all aspects of the Manufacturing facility to ensure the effectiveness of the operations. The Plant Manager leads all aspects of the manufacturing and maintenance Group to ensure the delivery of products to our customers in a timely manner.Define and set strategies and objectives used to conduct the business in a fashion to meet or exceed the yearly goals.The implementation of these strategies is paramount to the achievement of the safety, environmental, quality, and profitability goals. Effective implementation of these strategies will generate customer, organization, and employee satisfaction. Champion the development of the staff by fostering a learning culture that is focused on innovation, shared best practices, training, and cooperation with other sites. Engage with the local community to represent the site and the company while promoting our values and environmental sustainability.
Strategic Focus:
Define business strategy as part of the global Stationary Emission Control Catalysis (SECC) Management Team.
Ensure product and engineering service quality and new product implementation in the SECC production as part of the product team; this includes production in-house, toll manufacturing, and sub-supplier production.
Plan and maximize plant production capacity, resources, and infrastructure to support the business strategy and fulfil customer requirements.
Develop the plant infrastructure, processes, and environment to create a stable, safe, positive, and efficient workplace.
Implement Manufacturing Excellence concepts to optimize existing processes.
Continuously improve operational performance and support the development of employees' competence.
Work with a multinational project and service engineering team while monitoring the engineering, fabrication, and quality of all engineering and project services.
Transfer new technologies to the site to support the business competitiveness.
Direct and support a team effort regarding Safety.
Direct an operation with a substantial portion of the indirect workforce comprised of a contracted service.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the global Stationary Emission Control Catalysis Management Team, represent the Bayport site by participating in the creation of the yearly business plan and operations strategy.
Ensure product quality and implementation of new products in production in cooperation with and as part of the Product, Internal, and External Engineering Team.
Coordinate and interface with the Finance department to generate and monitor budget and forecast models for the Bayport site.
Plan and monitor the plant's operational and capital budget through the year.
Plan, allocate, and coordinate with internal and external engineering team resources necessary to ensure the successful installation and commissioning of capital projects in support of production goals.
Plan actions and programs to accomplish site goals regarding safety and environmental.
Establish manufacturing goals, objectives, standards, and processes towards maximum performance of equipment, personnel, utilities, and material transformation to meet required output for sustained profitability.
Meet customer requirements with the site infrastructure and process capabilities.
Organize direction for full utilization of plant capacity, manpower, utilities, infrastructure, and other facility requirements to support business strategy and to meet sales forecast.
Mentor and guide key staff personnel in best practices.
Challenge the site management team to proactively pursue innovation as a means of achieving site goals.
Coach the management team to develop the competence of the site through training and cross-training.
Review staff and site performance to ensure training effectiveness.
Create policies and practices to best balancethe production requirements and the work-life balance of employees.
Manage complex relationships with outside services and contractors supporting site operations.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Finance, equivalent years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 15 years of Manufacturing or Power production experience in different areas, including Production, Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Maintenance, and Production Planning.
Minimum of 10 years of management experience.
Exposure to other cultures.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing, inventory control techniques, andlogistics.
