We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for an Oracle EBS Hyperion Senior Manager to join a leading Company located in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Oracle EBS Hyperion Senior Manager is responsible to oversee operational and project support of the Oracle R12 EBS ERP, Global Data Warehouse, and Hyperion financial systems platforms. One of the key functions of the role is to provide oversight and escalation of the above noted application platforms for the Business and Resource Units. Responsibilities include managing teams, investigating and resolving support issues, championing process improvements, coordinating technical work, and coordinating support efforts across various infrastructure and application support teams. The Senior Manager will drive automation, data integrity, and reporting excellence across our global organization.
Job Responsibilities:
EBS & Hyperion Governance
Define and enforce implementation standards for the supported footprint (EBS, Hyperion Planning, Financial Management, Orbit Reporting System, etc.).
Process Optimization
Manage the design and execution of end-to-end finance processes (close, consolidation, budgeting)
Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma).
Team Leadership
Lead a team of 7-10 finance analysts & developers located in different time zones and countries.
Provide coaching and guidance regarding project work and efficiency.
Data & Reporting
Ensure data accuracy, audit trails, and compliance with SOX controls Deliver executive-level dashboards and ad hoc analysis.
Project Management.
Ensure project work is accomplished efficiently and effectively. Operational Support.
Provide technical leadership to develop business plans and/or lead solutions to complex technical problems across the Enterprise including database, network, storage, in house, and third-party developed applications.
Conduct high-level technical and operational trending analysis to direct staff to conduct continuous improvement across computing infrastructure systems and applications.
Lead the development of technical action plans to correct issues.
Lead configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle EBS modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, PA, FA, etc.).
Budgeting Forecasting & Planning
Lead the development of annual and multi-year budget forecasts for your areas of responsibility.
Provide estimating and analytical support for cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and capital expenditure approvals.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science or related field.
Six years of experience in finance systems (Oracle EBS, Hyperion) analysis, development and implementation of systems and/or technology.
Management or supervisory experience required.
Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment.
Experience In software development life cycle.
Experience in design and architecture review.
Hands-on management of all Sev 1 and Sev 2 incidents.
Should have strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Ten years of experience in finance systems (Oracle EBS, Hyperion) analysis, development and implementation of systems and/or technology.
Managerial experience in a global, matrixed environment; offshore management a plus
Experience working in a global delivery environment.
