  • Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
  • Job Type: Direct Hire, Onsite
  • Location: Cookeville, TN
  • Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 base salary

Overview

The Industrial Engineer will improve manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and support continuous improvement in an automotive production environment. This role partners with cross functional teams to enhance workflow, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.


Responsibilities

  • Optimize manufacturing workflows and production efficiency
  • Use statistical tools to set labor and production standards
  • Design and improve equipment and workspace layouts using CAD
  • Develop manufacturing methods to improve productivity and reduce waste
  • Analyze material flow and operational sequences for improvement opportunities
  • Support quality and reliability goals through process evaluation
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on cost, quality, and efficiency
  • Assist with planning for future growth and capacity needs


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years in manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree (nice to have)
  • CAD and statistical analysis experience
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
