We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Port Washington, WI surrounding area.
The Project Engineer's primary purpose is to provide solutions for new and existing production applications while adding technical expertise to the organization. In addition, the Project Engineer will collaborate with Customers, plant personnel, and management to achieve the successful completion of the project and equipment improvements. We are looking for someone who is an organized, responsive, and proactive team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels. Prior experience (3-5 years) in a contract manufacturing or a manufacturing environment is required. Requires an advanced technical degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience or a Master's degree.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and/or enhance customer products or equipment technology to provide innovative solutions to complex customer problems.
Resolve mechanical and system control issues as they arise.
Assist the sales team and senior management by providing equipment quotes and general information as requested.
Develop cost-saving solutions for internal use as well as for application to customers in the manufacturing of their products.
Provide manning for new and existing production applications.
Evaluate, analyze, and provide contractor quotes for new and existing projects.
Maintain contact with customers to ensure that we meet or exceed customer satisfaction with respect to problem resolution.
Travel to equipment vendors to observe, analyze, and evaluate new equipment solutions.
Assist in production line assembly or setup.
Train maintenance and production personnel on new equipment.
Provide technical support for customer meetings, trials, and other events as required.
Provide supervision for equipment and facility installations.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Requires an advanced technical degree plus a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience or a Master's degree.
Requires comprehensive expertise in electrical engineering and system controls.
Requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and system dynamics.
Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
