We have an outstanding Contract position for a Tool Clerk to join a leading Company located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Hourly Pay Rate Range: $19-$22 per hour
Shift: 10am-6:30pm
Responsibilities:
Check work on the computer for the employees (tooling, grinding, machining), using the blueprints, andentering work orders
Order the tooling that is needed in the organization
Withdraw tools from stocks if necessary and adjust the system of quantities
Forward request for tooling and prints to the Tool Room for review
Update and distribute the Hot Job report on a daily basis
Collect tooling Green Sheets from departments, pull and attach blueprints, then forward sheets to the Tool Room for review
Pull and fill blank tooling requisitions for the Tool Room
Update and maintain the system with cancellations approved by departments
Quote outside vendors
Work closely with purchasing and engineering
Expedite tooling orders in the Tool Room as requested by departments
Complete, if necessary, reports and graphs for tracking tool ordering and receipt times
Compare the physical item to the printed problem tools to ensure that the information is correct (i.e., correct tool numbers, accurate identification of tools, etc)
Basic Hiring Criteria:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing environment experience
Steel-toe shoes are required
Must be able to work shift 10am-6:30pm
