We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join a leading Company. This position is fully remote.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities:
- Drive technical sales and business development across the North American territory.
- Develop new customers and expand relationships with existing accounts.
- Promote and launch new products, positioning technical solutions to meet customer needs.
- Provide technical consultation and application guidance across plastics additives, antioxidants, coating compounds, polyurethanes, inkjet printing, and water-based and UV systems.
- Lead product presentations, technical discussions, and solution-based selling engagements.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and commercial teams to align product capabilities with customer requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform growth strategy.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and long-term account development.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science (required).
- Proven technical sales, sales engineering, or business development experience in specialty chemicals.
- Industry experience in plastics additives, antioxidants, coating compounds, polyurethanes, inkjet printing, and water-based and UV systems.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience at BASF Plastic Additives, IGM, SI, Sartomer, or similar organizations.
- Demonstrated success in developing new customers and growing territory revenue.
- Ability to translate complex chemical technologies into clear commercial value.
- Self-driven and comfortable working remotely with a high level of autonomy.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across North America.
