We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Assembly Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Phoenix, AZ surrounding area.

As an FAA Assembly Mechanic Level 1, you will play a vital role in assembling, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Your responsibilities include identifying parts for replacement, ordering new parts as needed, and ensuring all machinery operates correctly and safely.

Responsibilities:
  • Assembly: Build and assemble mechanical components to meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintenance & Testing: Perform routine maintenance and conduct functionality and safety tests on equipment.
  • Part Identification: Detect worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts requiring replacement.
  • Ordering: Place orders for necessary parts to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Supervision: Work under immediate supervision and follow established guidelines.
  • Reporting: Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Basic Hiring Criteria
  • High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or formal training preferred.
  • Experience: 0-2 years in a related field.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
