We have an outstanding Contract position for a ServiceNow Developer to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $80 - $120

**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**

Responsibilities:
- Build, improve, and support applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Work closely with customers to understand needs and turn them into technical solutions.
- Update and test customizations during platform upgrades.
- Provide input on project planning, design, and implementation based on your technical experience and understanding.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field - or equivalent work experience.
- Solid grasp of the ServiceNow platform's architecture and best practices, capable of designing scalable, maintainable solutions beyond basic configurations.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs like GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and other server/client-side scripting tools.
- Proficiency in scripting using JavaScript, plus working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform, including Employee Center, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical details to a variety ofaudiences.
- Experience building in ServiceNow's Next Experience (UI Builder).
- Familiarity with AngularJS or the UI Framework used in Next Experience.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow's Source-to-Pay.
