We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Call Center Agent to join a leading Company located in the Cary, NC surrounding area.

$20.40/hour
Onsite position
Schedule Details:
  • 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
    • Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday
    • Rotating Saturdays (once per month with a weekday off)
  • Training Schedule: Onsite, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
    • (Training lasts approximately 3-6 weeks)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound pharmacy calls
  • Make outbound calls to schedule medication deliveries and collect payments
  • Provide prescription status updates, billing information, and refill support
  • Accurately document calls, patient profiles, and progress notes
  • Run medical claims and verify insurance information
  • Escalate concerns to pharmacists or nurses when needed
  • Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and patience with patients
  • Identify and report adverse events and product complaints
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
  • Microsoft Office and computer systems 
 
Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Minimum 1 year of recent call center experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Associate degree
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional phone presence and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient conversations with empathy
    • Pharmacy, medical office, or medical terminology experience a plus
    • Medical claims experience a plus
    • Strong attendance is essential
