We have an outstanding career opportunity for a CNC VTL Machinist to join a leading Company located in the Warren, MI surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Operate CNC Vertical Lathe (VTL) machines - will also consider Horizontal Lathe experience
• Run multiple machines as part of manufacturing cells when feasible
• Machine hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel
• Read and interpret operation sheets, symbols, and CNC programs
• Use Fanuc controls and perform offsets as required
• Load parts onto fixtures and operate hoists for machine loading
• Utilize right-angle heads as needed
• Work within tight tolerances (± thousandths)
• Apply GD&T principles
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, swing gauges)
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• 5+ years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred)
• Experience supporting major aerospace OEMs such as Pratt & Whitney, GE, Rolls-Royce
• Strong math skills and ability to use calculators
• Ability to read tool sheets and set up tooling
• Ability to stand for extended periods and climb machine platforms
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Strong teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
