We have an outstanding Contract position for a Systems Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Grand Prairie, TX surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**
Responsibilities:
Performs technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
This role will focus on verifying total system performance using high-fidelity 6-DOF simulations.
Experience with Monte Carlo analysis and post-processing large datasets is desired.
Prepared Detailed Verification plans for total system performance against system requirements using high-fidelity simulations.
Initiate and monitor the generation of large Monte Carlo data sets to support performance verification.
Prepare post-run performance analysis, including identifying areas of performance deficiency and areas of unexplained changes.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum of interim clearance to start, final Secret preferred; Clearance required at time of submittal.
STEM Bachelor's degree with experience in analyzing large data sets or statistics.
Minimum 8 years of experience with 6-DOF Simulation setup/output analysis.
Minimum 8 years of experience writing scripts/source code to process large amounts of data.
Minimum 8 years of experience with Technical Communication; reporting summaries of Monte Carlo performance to technical communities.
