We have an outstanding Contract position for an F-16 Production Flightline APG Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Greenville, SC surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

 **Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**

Job Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine troubleshooting. 
• Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. 
• Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft. 
• Responsible for the acceptability of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft. 
• Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access to equipment requiring repair.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
  • Landing gear
  • Powerplants
  • Flight controls
  • Fueling/Defueling
  • Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
• 6+ Years of recent aircraft experience (fighter preferred but not required).

Desired Qualifications: 

• Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred.
• 4 years if they have relevant fighter jet experience.
