We have an outstanding Contract position for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Corpus Christi, TX surrounding area.

Responsibilities:
  • Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling. 
  • Designs the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout. 
  • Designs the sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, and other functions that affect product performance. 
  • Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. 
  • May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. 
  • Inspects the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. 
  • Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. 
  • Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. 
  • Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with composite main-rotor blade system; experience with UH-60M systems highly desired.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience conducting Bond Cycle Certification for blade bonding tools.
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting blade-level faults.
  • Must have experience using SAP and Solumina.

Desired Qualifications:
  • SAP.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, AS9100 auditor, or similar quality‑system credentials.
  • Experience with the UH-60M system's main-rotor blade system.
