We have an outstanding Contract position for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Corpus Christi, TX surrounding area.
Responsibilities:
Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
Designs the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
Designs the sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, and other functions that affect product performance.
Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
Inspects the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience with composite main-rotor blade system; experience with UH-60M systems highly desired.
Minimum 3 years of experience conducting Bond Cycle Certification for blade bonding tools.
Proven track record in troubleshooting blade-level faults.
Must have experience using SAP and Solumina.
Desired Qualifications:
SAP.
Six Sigma Green Belt, AS9100 auditor, or similar quality‑system credentials.
Experience with the UH-60M system's main-rotor blade system.
