We have an outstanding Contract position for a System Integration/Test Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Orlando, FL surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**
Responsibilities:
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and/or systems.
Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
Reviews, evaluates, and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system-level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance.
Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Safety Shoes will be required for this position.
Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience with Software Development (C, C++, LabVIEW preferred).
Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience with Production.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Test Equipment Design.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Electronic Testing.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Mechanical Testing.
Desired Qualifications:
LabVIEW/LabWindows CVI, NI experience in both development and maintenance capacities on complex systems.
Proficient SW skills in C, C++, coupled with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) HW integration expertise (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation).
Automated Test equipment development/maintenance experience in a high-volume production environment.
Source program is an Electro-Optic sensor solution for military platforms.
