We have an outstanding Contract position for a Technician to join a leading Company located in the Orlando, FL surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**
Job Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive manufacturing of cables, prototypes, and production assemblies; repairing field and lab assets; and manufacturing initial builds working with Engineering.
Candidates should be able to work from schematics, engineering drawings and models, and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Modify/repair test equipment and prototypes according to drawing, specifications, or engineering liaison.
Responsible for building assemblies and reporting back any engineering discrepancies they find before they hit the production floor.
Responsible for performing all assigned duties in a safe and compliant manner and apprising supervision of all issues that could impact our business.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Experience with engineering first drafts in an assembly setting. The selected candidates will be.
Requires mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to determine when something needs to be rectified on an engineering drawing.
