We have an outstanding Contract position for an Inventory Clerk to join a leading Company located in the Tulsa, OK surrounding area.
The Temporary Inventory Support team member assists with inventory-related activities, including pre-count preparation, physical inventory counts, and post-count reconciliation support. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory records and may involve counting, labeling, organizing, and verifying parts or materials throughout the facility. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow inventory procedures, and the willingness to work extended hours during inventory periods. This is a short-term, temporary assignment to support scheduled inventory counts.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with inventory pre-count activities, including organizing, labeling, and staging parts or materials.
Perform accurate physical inventory counts of parts, materials, and products.
Verify part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and locations against inventory lists or systems.
Record inventory counts clearly and accurately on count sheets or electronic devices.
Recount or verify inventory items as requested to resolve discrepancies
Follow established inventory procedures and internal controls.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory areas during counting activities.
Adhere to safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communicate issues, shortages, damages, or discrepancies to inventory supervisors.
Assist with post-count activities as needed, including cleanup and documentation support.
Work flexible or extended hours, including evenings or weekends, during inventory periods.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience preferred but not required.
