We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join a leading Company located in the Boxborough, MA surrounding area.
This role is responsible for managing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. The position works closely with executive leadership, field teams, and subcontractors to coordinate project planning, financial oversight, and day-to-day execution.
Responsibilities:
Lead preconstruction activities, including scope development, budgeting, bid leveling, and subcontractor buyout
Coordinate procurement activities and track long-lead materials to support project timelines
Partner with the Superintendent to establish and maintain project schedules and oversee field progress
Present project budgets, schedules, and updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Manage and process owner and subcontractor change orders
Review and approve project-related expenses, including invoices, costs, and timecards
Facilitate project meetings, including owner, architect, contractor, subcontractor, and internal coordination meetings
Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, compliance tracking, and closeout documentation
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum 4 years of experience managing commercial construction projects in Massachusetts
Experience with bid leveling, subcontractor buyout, and project budgeting
Hands-on experience managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle
Proficiency with Procore project management software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Knowledge of design assist and value engineering processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools such as MS Project
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
