We have an outstanding Contract position for a Maintenance Helper to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DC surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $20 to $30 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Support building maintenance and repair tasks: material handling, job site prep and cleanup, simple repairs, patching, painting, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry support, small project assistance, and building protection.
Assist with the use of basic hand tools and portable power tools as needed.
Collaborate with maintenance and skilled trades teams to deliver quality service and ensure safety standards.
Help organize supplies, prepare work areas, and perform basic troubleshooting for facility issues.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Previous hands-on maintenance, construction, or related work is a plus but not required—willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, service, integrity, and a positive outlook.
Ready to tackle challenges, propose solutions, and complete tasks efficiently.
Comfortable working with team members, supervisors, and site contacts.
