We have an outstanding Contract position for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Fort Worth, TX surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**

This position is for a mechanical design engineer. The selected candidate will support the Flight Test Instrumentation team working on lines of business. The candidate will be required to perform mechanical and harness-routing design activities for the installation of flight-test equipment and data-system components. The candidate will be responsible for releasing engineering drawings and work instructions, supporting airworthiness documentation, monitoring fabrication activities, and supporting aircraft modifications.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of CATIA V5 experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of 2D/3D mechanical design experience in an aerospace environment
• Previous experience with instrumentation (flight or ground) preferred
• Previous experience with the program-specific tools and processes
