We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Assembly & Test Technician to join a leading Company located in the Tempe, AZ surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
This role is responsible for conducting standardized tests on a wide range of aviation equipment. The technician will carefully record and analyze test results to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform industry-specific tests on aviation equipment in accordance with established protocols.
Record detailed observations and analyze test data to identify performance trends and potential issues.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
Collaborate with engineering teams to refine testing processes and improve equipment reliability.
Contribute to the development and implementation of aviation safety guidelines and best practices.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Hands-on experience with testing tools such as calipers, drop mics, bore gauges, and inside/outside micrometers.
Experience using torque wrenches and working with mechanical systems.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Ability to work under direct supervision while accomplishing tasks with limited experience and judgment.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability, including creativity and independent thinking as needed.
Ability to lift more than 30 lbs and work in environments involving physical risks associated with testing.
