We have an outstanding Contract position for an Inventory/Materials Assistant to join a leading Company located in the Orlando, FL surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**
Responsibilities:
Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones.
Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
Support Integrated Supply Management (ISM) operations in the areas of PHS&T (Packaging, Handling, Storage, & Transportation) to include Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Management.
Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
Requisitions needed Shipping supplies; verifies Material/Assets received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective assets.
Prepares Inventory Records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock quantities, condition, and account.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum 3 years of experience using a Forklift and/or Pallet Stacker.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Shipping/Receiving warehouse operations.
Minimum 3 years of Warehousing experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience with MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to operate a Box Truck with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 lbs. (non-CDL) with a 40lb lift gate.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience packaging items for shipment to both commercial and military standards.
