We have an outstanding Contract position for a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Fort Worth, TX surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**
Software Integration Engineer Sr, driving the full technology development lifecycle-from system and software design to collaboration, automation tooling, infrastructure upgrades, and seamless software integration. You'll work across a diverse set of host environments, including aircraft software, high‑fidelity simulators, and lab setups that blend constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system‑level models.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, integrate, support, and debug cutting‑edge software across multiple platforms.
Own and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, ensuring builds are fast, reliable, and reproducible.
Champion virtual development labs and aircraft‑software workflows, keeping them nimble and user‑friendly.
Design and build automation frameworks using a mix of open‑source, commercial, and in‑house tools-letting you experiment with the latest technologies.
Engage daily in scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demos, sharing progress and learning with the team.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience programming in C++ and/or Java.
Experience developing software on Linux.
Experience with simulation software environments.
3+ years of Experience programming in C++.
3+ years of Experience programming in Python.
* 1-2 years of Experience developing software on Linux (RedHat or SUSE12).
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Experience with Real-time software development and integration.
Experience programming in Python.
A strong interest in supporting software development for airborne systems.
Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and/or weapons.
Experience with Open Mission Systems.
Experience leading software projects.
Experience with simulation software environments, Digital Twin environment.
