We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Material Handler to join a leading Company located in the Phoenix, AZ surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized FAA Material Handler - Data Entry Specialist to support inventory operations within our Repair & Overhaul Center. This role combines inventory management, material handling, and data entry responsibilities, with a primary focus on maintaining accurate inventory records and transaction data. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting inventory accuracy, conducting physical inventories, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation of material movements. While some lifting and moving of materials is required, the majority of the position focuses on data entry, inventory tracking, and record management. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be available for occasional Saturday work to support inventory activities and operational needs.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter, update, and maintain inventory transactions in company databases and systems.
Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Utilize Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel to track inventory activity and maintain detailed records.
Support inventory control processes by documenting material receipts, transfers, and movements.
Collaborate with inventory, warehouse, and operations teams to prioritize work and ensure data accuracy.
Investigate and resolve inventory-related discrepancies in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory tracking and data management processes.
Maintain compliance with FAA, company, and safety standards.
Assist with material handling activities, including moving and organizing inventory as needed.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Previous data entry experience with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Ability to work on-site for a full-time, 40-hour work week.
Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with SAP.
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.
Experience supporting physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
