This role is ideal for an electrical consulting engineer looking to expand both project management and technical leadership experience. Job Responsibilities:
Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects from design through construction administration.
Design and coordinate building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
Serve as the primary electrical engineering resource on assigned projects with support from senior technical leadership.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
Perform QA/QC reviews to maintain high-quality project deliverables.
Support proposal development and client relationship management.
Continue developing technical expertise while mentoring junior engineers as experience grows.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred (or you are pursuing one).
4-7 years of consulting electrical engineering experience.
Experience managing engineering projects.
Strong background in building electrical systems design.
Experience with healthcare, higher education, laboratory, commercial, institutional, or energy infrastructure projects preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, building, NFPA, and energy codes.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Desired Qualifications:
AGi32 lighting design.
SKM, EasyPower, or ETAP.
Solar and battery storage projects.
Medium-voltage distribution.
Electrical resiliency and energy efficiency initiatives.
