We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to join a leading Company located in the Chatsworth, CA surrounding area.
Salary: $39,520 - 43,680
Responsibilities:
Collect samples from production lines on a regular basis to meet different preset requirements for different tests
Perform inspection and CCP checkups on in-process products
Perform final inspection of product, including but not limited to review for completeness, label check, weight check, and visual inspection of final product
Inspect various incoming products and raw materials
Identify and control non-conforming materials
Assist with document control, including organizing, filing, and reviewing QA documents
Assist with pre-operational process
Address any questions and concerns on food safety and quality assurance with QA management in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Hiring Criteria:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in QC role or a fast-paced food manufacturing environment preferred
Bilingual Spanish speaker
Ability to work in a diverse team environment
Ability to do basic mathematical calculations
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally
Ability to work flexible schedule depending on operational needs
Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
