We have an outstanding Contract position for a Field Technician to join a leading Company located in the White Sands Missile Range, NM surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment. 
• Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. 
• Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. 
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem(s) in minimum time. 
• Installs, upgrades, and removes products, ensuring coordinated engineering field change. 
• Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
• May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (BS not required).
• Technician with previous hands-on experience.
• Previous experience with Mechanical Assembly in Aerospace systems.
• Previous experience with Electrical Test Equipment.
• Experience working with Standard Procedures.
• Experience with Critical Test Equipment (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Experience with explosives is a plus; in this position, the candidate selected will be exposed to and handling explosives.
• Candidate expected to have reliable transportation. 
• Safety shoes are required for this position.
