We have an outstanding Contract position for a Receiving Inspector to join a leading Company located in the Severn, MD surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $36.88 Hourly

**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**
This is a challenging and rewarding position with a mission to support the manufacturing of air and space-based RF systems. This opportunity involves working closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing team to build prototypes, support New Product Integration (NPI) and production builds.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications. Examines electronic components like bare boards, COTS items, and, items fabricated to in-house drawings for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit; inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications.
- Reviews supplier certifications, packing slips test reports to ensure compliance with flow-down requirements.
- Identify, label, and document defective, damaged, or non-conforming materials.
- Provide direct Quality Assurance ownership and oversight of Receiving Inspection labs.
- Participate in regular MRBs (material review board) to ensure nonconforming material/process is appropriately handled.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent and any STEM major.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a Receiving Inspection environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints.
- Good understanding of AS9100 standard and support with internal & external audits as required.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- High level of accuracy in identifying defects and maintaining records.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in Aerospace, NASA and/or FAA programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to tailor level of effort based on customer requirements and expectations.
- Works independently with limited supervision.
