We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Compliance Onboarding Specialist to join a leading Company located in the Dallas, TX surrounding area.
The onboarding specialist for compliance is responsible for initiating the onboarding process for select candidates onboarding for safety-sensitive or ITAR assignments. Onboarding duties include but are not limited to, inputting individual information into SmartSearch and Custom Match databases, initiating background and drug screenings, and following up with candidates to ensure completion of the required information, acknowledgments, and all ancillary onboarding documentation. This position requires close interaction within a team environment to accomplish team objectives and ensuring that all compliance requirements are met prior to candidates starting an assignment.
Job Responsibilities:
Acts as the primary point of contact for Associates, establishing rapport, providing guidance and information to start the onboarding process.
Verifies with Associate that all information has been completed in US Verify.
Submits requests for background information, drug screening, Associate education, and records findings to authorize start dates.
Completes onboarding process in Smart Search and monitors system and updates with any changes.
Provides Associates with guidance on policy interpretation, benefits, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
Maintains Associate data in front end system by updating assignment information and changes such as: pay rates, end dates, shift changes and unemployment claims.
Provide backup support for payroll data entry, onboarding compliance, and other areas as needed.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Supports compliance team as required to ensure success of the team; performs other duties as assigned by team leadership.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
1-year related experience in a service-provider environment required.
Excellent customer service skills required, along with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and interface with all levels of staff, management, and clients. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and possess good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
