We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Pricing and Proposals Manager to join a leading Company located in the Clemmons, NC surrounding area.

Reporting to the site director of commercial and contracts, the Pricing & Proposal Manager plays a key role in achieving our growth plans and representing us as a customer-facing member of the capture team. This role's mission is to lead and execute all customer requests for quotation in our momentum business. In addition to having demonstrated experience in the areas defined herein, this role requires a high level of integrity, strong multi-tasking & organizational skills, follow through on commitments, and an ability to build relationships across the organization as well as a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
Embedded member of the inside sales team, collaborating with Business Development and P&L leaders to formulate winning strategies for new development programs
Leads momentum business quotes with primary responsibility over strategy, commercial, and contractual aspects
Manage site proposal staff in accordance with organization policies, including planning, assigning, monitoring work, appraising performance, and guiding professional development
Coordinates with Finance and Supply Chain organizations to establish a robust and compliant cost basis as the cornerstone of all business cases
Responsible for the Contract Review and Flow-Down process to ensure terms are aligned with company expectations prior to acceptance
Ensures US Government RFQ responses are provided compliant with all applicable FAR/DFAR provisions
Accountable for all customer negotiations through contract award
Supports US Government and/or customer audits
Supports the Program Management Office with a comprehensive contracts launch, ensuring our rights are known, enforced, and protected
Leads annual pricing reviews to maximize sales and achieve growth plans
Provides support and guidance in interpreting customer contracts when requested
Releases routine contract letters and supports other formal letters as needed
Prepares documents and analyzes data using a combination of ERP analytics and Microsoft Office software
Reviews NDAs and coordinates with the corporate legal department to execute
Follows policies & procedures aligned with Contracts Playbook & company delegations
Participates in High-Performance Teams representing the Contracts function when applicable
Fosters positive relationships with internal and external customers
Other duties as assigned
Occasional travel may also be required
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and/or Engineering Management required
Minimum 15 years of business development, proposal management, contracts, program management, or related experience in an aerospace with familiarity of FAR 12/15 is required
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree in business administration is a plus
This working manager position requires demonstrated success in leading multi-faceted proposals and multi-year quotes, as well as in-depth knowledge of commercial contracts, DoD acquisitions, & financial concepts
MS Excel and general mathematical ability are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work requires the ability to understand and follow instructions, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to work effectively as part of a team
Work may also require bending, carrying, and lifting up to 10 pounds
Expert knowledge in government contracting is a plus
Demonstrated experience leading complex proposals, including development of costs/pricing
