We have an outstanding Contract position for an Electronic Technician to join a leading Company located in the Grand Prairie, Texas surrounding area.

Electrical technician capable of operating within an integration and test lab environment. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and prototype electronic modules, equipment, cables, and systems
  • Apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing in the assembly of electronic equipment, missile control instrumentation, test equipment, and cabling
  • Work under the direction of engineering staff
  • Observe all Occupational, Safety, and Health guidance

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Associates degree in electronics technology (or similar)

Desired Qualifications:
  • Electrical (Electro-mechanical) assembly experience
  • Cable/ harness/ soldering experience
  • Ability to comprehend electrical schematics
  • Must be familiar with analog, digital, integration, and test skills to support and facilitate testing of complex hardware
  • Preferred experience with the following test equipment: Hand-Held Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Bench Power Supplies, Hand Crimping Tools
  • Must be team-oriented, but capable of working independently when required
  • Able to fluently read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
