We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team and contribute to our product quality assurance process. The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests, inspections, and troubleshooting activities on our products or systems to ensure they meet the required quality standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Perform various tests and inspections on products, equipment, or systems according to established test procedures and standards.
Set up and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements.
Record test data, observations, and results accurately and promptly.
Identify and document any defects, malfunctions, or deviations from specifications.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to analyze test results and make necessary adjustments or improvements.
Maintain and update test equipment, tools, and fixtures as needed.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in the development and improvement of test procedures and processes.
Adhere to quality control standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Test Technician or in a similar role.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of testing methodologies and procedures.
Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other relevant tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Proficient in using computer software for data recording and analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Understanding of quality control principles and practices.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
