Job Description:
Client is looking for an Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level C) to support their Program based in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
* Provides objective evidence of results.
* Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
* Must support inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statement majority of the time.
* Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
* Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
* Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.
* Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
* Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC site.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. 'US Person' includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* 8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
* A&P License
* 2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES
* Composite fabrication experience
* Structural work experience (wing work)
* Wiring
* Production testing experience
* 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis
* Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool assisted inspection methods
* Experience in a team environment
* Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
* 787 Program Experience
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
