PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator 3, in Berkeley, MO. Job ID#211522

 

Job Description: 

Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture. Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems. Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems. Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements. Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.

Project/day-to-day activities: 
Linux related projects, Systems Administrator for Linux including AV & Patching.

Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed:
1. Advanced Linux Skills, Application Support.
2. Security/Hardening, Software and Integration Support
3. Automation of tasks using scripts.

Plusses:
- Docker, Containers & Kubernetes would be a +.
