PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Equipment & Tool Engineer 1, in Auburn, WA. Job ID#211611

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $43.00

Job Description:

This is an equipment development, implementation, and improvement role. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Evaluate program and project requirements, develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.
• Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.
• Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
• Develop and implement workarounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.
• Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET is a preferred, although not required, accreditation standard)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques
• Experience in automation and robotics
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
