PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Computing Architect 4, in Tukwila, WA. Job ID#212130

Pay Rate: $78 - $83/hr

Job Description:

Establish WebSphere environments for the production pipeline of Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES). CMES is the digital heartbeat of our factories and we rely on this system to build and deliver Commercial products.

Job Duties
• Build development environments on new hardware and provide support during application development
• Provide direction to development teams on design principles to support high availability, performance and application resiliency
• Build production systems and provide support through to go live
• Participate in ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and delivering continuous improvement
• Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring security and integrity of WAS systems
• Experience with database systems, particularly Oracle for backend application support.

Required Skills:
• Certified IBM Deployment/Administration professional in Websphere
• 4+ years of experience with the development, Configuration, planning, deployment, administration and support of WAS Applications
• Strong communication skills, technical discipline, initiative and teaming attitude

Education / Experience: Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
